Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett (2026) #2 is the second issue of Marvel’s seven-issue comic miniseries adapting the 2021–2022 Disney+ series of the same name. It was released today, September 23, 2026.

It adapts Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine from the TV series. The story follows Boba as the new crime lord of Mos Espa trying to hold a fragile peace among rival syndicates on Tatooine, while flashbacks cover his recovery and training with the Tusken Raiders after escaping the Sarlacc.

BOBA FETT, clone and son of JANGO FETT, became one of the most feared bounty hunters throughout the galaxy, capturing HAN SOLO for the Empire and delivering him to the vile gangster JABBA THE HUTT.
After a daring rescue of SOLO, FETT was knocked into the SARLACC PIT—but eventually fought his way out….
After escaping the SARLACC PIT, the bounty hunter BOBA FETT was captured by a tribe of TUSKENS.
Now, after taking over JABBA THE HUTT’S former territory, Boba has become the new crime lord of Mos Espa, but not everyone has accepted him.
Assassins and rivals threaten Boba’s tenuous reign….
The series is a direct adaptation of the seven-episode TV show (one issue per episode), written by Rodney Barnes (who previously adapted The Mandalorian and Ahsoka comics) with art by Will Sliney. Issue #1 released on September 9, 2026.
