Where Darth Vader Hid Obi-Wan's Lightsaber After Killing Him 1

Over his life Obi-Wan constructed three different lightsabers, each honoring different phases in his life. The third however was his most important and and prized weapon, which he treated with great respect and care… But what happened to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber after Darth Vader killed him on the Death Star?

So after Obi-Wan transcends into the cosmic force at the hands of Vader, his body completely fades out of the living force and his lightsabers drops to the ground with his robe. Right after this, Vader picks up the saber as a trophy and a memory of his greatest ever victory. The sith Lord then stores it inside of his TIE advanced during the Battle of Yavin and during the whole trench run, it is right there alongside Vader. That’s some pretty nice symbolism honestly…

After the battle, the Saber went missing for many years and it was believed that the Empire had recovered it at some point. This was later confirmed after the fall of the Empire and rise of its remnants, when a group of young Jedi discovered Kenobi’s saber inside of Vader’s castle. They found that it was hidden in Vader’s most sentimental and impactful location. The group of Young Jedi then steal the saber from the deep bowels of Vader’s castle, alongside an ancient Jedi holocron possessing many thousands of years of teachings and wisdom.

The journey of this saber doesn’t end there though, as the it was soon stolen by one of the Young Jedi kids, who wanted to bring it to a wise and mystical mage, hoping he would grand him great force powers in return… What the kid didn’t realize though, was that this old mage was nothing but a fraud and didn’t possess and force powers at all. He used simple wires and magnets to trick people into believing he was a powerful force user… This is pretty much exactly like Haja Estree from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Because of this deception, the old mage stole Kenobi’s saber and obviously couldn’t grant the boy any force powers, leaving him distraught.
