Were the guys in Red who attacked Boba Fett members of Crimson Dawn?

Right at the end of Episode 1 of the Book of Boba Fett we are given a name for the assassins who attacked Lord Fett, and that was “The Night Wind”. Now although we won’t get any more info about them until Fennec completes her aggressive interrogation of the one she captured, we do know a small amount about them from the old Legends timeline.

In that story they went by the name Nightwind also, but they had an alternate name which was “The J’Mer Sab”. These guys were basically a fake resistance group which rose up on the planet Goroth Prime, deep in the Outer Rim. What this meant was that the whole group was basically a fraud and it was actually set up by Palpatine and the Empire itself… Why did he do this? Well he wanted to lure out people with Rebel Tendencies who might join the group and then once they did join, they would swiftly be arrested. Palpatine and the Imperial Governor of the planet Marsh Limoth actually let their numbers grow to a sizeable amount before conducting a massive public busting operation where they exposed the group and likely executed all of the people who joined in public, all to send a message.
