How Obi-Wan Learned the Force Sight Ability. During a mission to hunt down a group of separatist agents, Obi-Wan failed to deflect a flashbang with his lightsaber, leaving it to detonate and completely take away his vision. As a result he was forced to escape the separatists while not having any idea where he was moving. At his lowest point however, Obi-Wan remembered the teachings of Qui-Gon Jinn and Master Yoda, and realized that a lack of sight is no barrier to the force, and soon he unlocked force sight, even admitting that it was slightly worse than normal vision.
