The Non-Canon Expert describes how Palpatine manipulated Anakin after his murder of Dooku, wherein Anakin wanted to gain access to the restricted vaults of the Jedi Temple Archives to find a way to save Padme, which would be his true reward after gaining the rank of Master for his heroism in the Clone Wars.
