December’s one-shot comic Star Wars: The Last Jedi—Storms of Crait is a tie-in to the new film, with a timeline twist. Its backstoryrich plot stars Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia as they travel to Crait in the days of Empire, looking for somewhere to establish a new Rebel Alliance base.
The comic is written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker, authors of the illustrated young adult book Star Wars: Join the Resistance and its sequel. Mike Mayhew (The Star Wars) illustrates, while Marco Checchetto (Star Wars: Shattered Empire) provides the cover.
Outside the YA novel Leia: Princess of Alderaan and a few shots of the world from the movie trailers, very little has been revealed about the planet Crait. What we do know is that decades later the Resistance and the First Order will face each other on the hostile planet. If you want to get a first
