A lot of people hate Jedi Rocks, myself not withstanding. It’s hard to even find an original release with this original 80’s-eque dance number called «Lapti Nek» these days. The original ain’t that great either, but its far less distracting, tonally awkward and in-your-face. However, its worth noting that Jedi Rocks and Lapti Nek are both about the same length. I’d argue one FEELS longer than the other. The Special Edition also includes an additional scene where the dancer girl is in the Rancor Pit. Regardless how you personally feel, they’re both just space musical numbers in Huttese. Max Rebo rules. Star Wars Blu-ray 2011.
