The Pathfinder team (Jedi Master Temesh, Padawan Anula, pilot Pol, medic Harby, and their pet lizard Ezal) is continuing their investigation into the mysterious death of Jedi Master Atticus Cale from issue #1.
While traveling to check out a strange comms disturbance in the Outer Rim, their ship gets pulled into a dangerous hyperspace abnormality — a weird pocket of distorted space filled with monstrous inhabitants.
Trapped and fighting for survival, the team sends out a desperate distress call. Help arrives in the form of a fan-favorite High Republic character (this is the big hook of the issue). The story focuses on their fight to escape the «darkness between the stars» before they’re lost forever.
It’s a classic High Republic adventure vibe: exploration gone wrong, cosmic horror elements in hyperspace, team dynamics, and a big guest star moment.
