Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the story follows Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Chewbacca on a covert Rebel mission to the Outer Rim world of Batuu.

The trio arrives in Black Spire Outpost, a lawless hub filled with smugglers, traders, and Imperial informants. Their objective is to recover valuable intelligence that could help the Rebel Alliance counter the Empire’s growing reach.
Trouble in Black Spire
Almost immediately, tensions escalate. The presence of Imperial forces makes the mission dangerous, and the situation erupts into a chaotic confrontation—essentially a large-scale brawl involving locals, criminals, and stormtroopers. Luke, Leia, and Chewbacca are forced to fight their way through the outpost while trying to stay focused on their objective.

During the conflict, they uncover more than just intelligence: a mysterious relic tied to the Empire. This discovery suggests that the Empire has deeper plans on Batuu than simple occupation or surveillance.
Escalation
As the heroes push forward, the stakes rise. The relic—and the secrets surrounding it—hint at a larger Imperial operation that could have significant consequences for the Rebellion. The issue ends with the mission far from complete and danger closing in.
