George Lucas and his team at Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), and the art department pushed digital filmmaking further than ever before, blending practical sets, miniatures, location shooting, and heavy CG to realize key worlds like Coruscant, Mustafar, Kashyyyk, Utapau, and others.
Key Worlds and How They Were Created

Coruscant (urban planet, Senate, Jedi Temple, opera house):
Building on Episodes I and II, the team expanded the ecumenopolis with massive digital cityscapes.
