In this Star Wars news update, we look at the Book of Boba Fett and new details that hint at Hutts, Mos Espa and more for the Mandalorian spin-off by Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. In the latest Empire, Kathleen Kennedy also speaks about Rangers of the New Republic and how it is more or less cancelled after Gina Carano who played Cara Dune was fired by Disney and Lucasfilm. While rumors suggested Hera Syndulla or Cobb Vanth would take the lead role, Favreau and Filoni will incorporate elements of the show in future seasons of the Mandalorian and other spin-offs of the Mando-verse like the Ahsoka series.
