Today we look at a Star Wars theory about Luke Skywalker after a Return of the Jedi easter egg appeared in the Book of Boba Fett trailer. The Mandalorian spin-off by Robert Rodriguez, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau is set to be full of unexpected surprises and maybe Luke and Grogu will appear after parting ways from Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in the Mandalorian Season 2 finale.

The trailer was full of fun call-backs and references to the original trilogy but one in particular takes us back to Jabba the Hutt who ruled the underworld on Tatooine before Bib Fortuna and then Boba Fett with Fennec Shand. When Luke came to rescue Han, Leia and Chewbacca, he spoke to Jabba and the way the Hutt ruled is very different to what Boba wants to achieve. We also discuss how it might connect to other Disney+ shows in how Lucasfilm is trying to recreate the Thrawn trilogy using characters like Ahsoka, Ezra and Mando.

Disney+ Day is next friday and we may get a second Book of Boba Fett trailer, teasers for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor, and announcements from Kathleen Kennedy.
