After Gina Carano was fired, there was info stating Cara Dune was meant to be the lead but now according to a reputable leaker, Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) who we saw in the Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 9 The Marshal is going to be the lead character. He could also appear in the upcoming Disney+ and Lucasfilm series the Book of Boba Fett by Robert Rodriguez starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen.
