The Mandalorian Season 3 Delayed Again & More News! 1

In today’s Star Wars news, we talk about the Mandalorian Season 3 which is delayed due to filming scheduling overlap with the Book of Boba Fett. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are leading the Mando-verse going forward for Lucasfilm and with Pedro Pascal at the forefront with Baby Yoda – Grogu, we’re in for an exciting Star Wars future. But it’s now being reported that Season 3 of the Disney+ show is only going to start filming in September. The show will likely release next Christmas while Star Wars: Visions, The Bad Batch and the Book of Boba Fett (with Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand) are all coming this year – 2021. Mando, Boba and the Ahsoka Tano Series all make up the Mandalorian universe as announced by Kathleen Kennedy last year!

We also discuss the Bad Batch Episode 5 «Rampage» – specifically the new Rancor Muchi which Omega and the rest of Clone Force 99 helped rescue for Bib Fortuna and Jabba The Hutt. The question is: is Muchi the same Rancor that we saw Luke Skywalker defeat in Return of the Jedi? Finally, we look at the possibility of Darth Maul showing up in the series as the leader of Crimson Dawn as seen in the Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
