In this Star Wars news update, we talk about The Bad Batch and how Lucasfilm have teased the appearance of big Star Wars characters for the remaining episodes. There could be Clone Wars cross-overs with Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan Kryze and Captain Rex as well as Mandalorian appearances such as Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and Grogu – Baby Yoda. As Ahsoka revealed in the Mandalorian Season 2, Grogu was hidden during Order 66 and someone saved him. Was this Anakin Skywalker? Was it Mace Windu? Or maybe Clone Force 99 themselves.
We also discuss how some Star Wars fans were offended by the premiere of the Bad Batch and how the show is now going to be changed for them. Finally, we talk about Wrecker and his toy Lula which Omega found. On Kamino, were the Bad Batch given a different upbringing to other clone troopers? Is there much more to their back-story? As the Empire rises, we see Tarkin, Palpatine and Vader come to power.
