In this Star Wars news update, we look at a new rumor for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series that Moses Ingram will be playing an Imperial Inquisitor alongside Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader! After the footage of lightsaber training posted the other day, we assumed she’d be portraying a Jedi or Sith – some kind of force-user maybe even Ahsoka Tano in live-action flashbacks from the Clone Wars.
We also discuss Kathleen Kennedy, the state of Lucasfilm after the firing of Gina Carano, the end of the Mandalorian Season 2, the Bad Batch and how Star Wars fans have been disappointed by May 4th this year!
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Series is an upcoming Star Wars, Lucasfilm and Disney+ series that was announced by Kathleen Kennedy during Disney Investor Day 2020. It is set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith and will be the rematch of the century between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader. Hayden Christensen has been cast to reprise his role as newly anointed Darth Vader in the wake of the creation of the Galactic Empire under the rule of Darth Sidious. The series will feature Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan during his exile on Tatooine.
