In the closing moments of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker, who was now Darth Vader delivered the shutdown order on mustafar, putting an end to the droid army that was feared across the Republic. He also slaughtered all of the separatist leaders, from the many corporate entities, truly ending the Confederacy for good… Or at least, he thought…

After the supposed fall of the Empire at the battle of Jakku, a large group of former separatists came together to bring back their old movement. lets find out how the separatist movement was reborn, years after the Clone Wars ended. Around 5 years after the battle of Yavin, the Confederacy of corporate systems was formed, hoping to rebirth the ideals of the old Confederacy of Independent systems, and break free from the former rule of the Empire, and the upcoming rule of the New Republic. It was mostly made up of the people who lived on corporate worlds, after most of the big corporations were dissolved by Palpatine and the empire.

It also consisted of many true believers of the separatist movement, who never gave up hope. Chancellor of the New Republic at the time, Mon Mothma quickly became very unsettled by the newly arising Confederacy, as well as two other governments hoping to bring back the old ways.
