In this Star Wars news update, we talk about The Bad Batch and how there is a new plot leak – we know that Crosshair will join the Empire but now there is confirmation of this and it links to Inhibitor chips. We also talk about whether or not Clone Force 99 will execute Order 66. The show is set to focus on a clone girl Omega who escapes with the Bad Batch from Kamino.

Recently we learned that the show will connect to the Obi-Wan Kenobi series through flashbacks. It is also believed that Ahsoka Tano will return alongside Captain Rex after Ashley Eckstein is reported to have completed voice work for the Clone Wars spin-off. We last saw Ahsoka in the Clone Wars Season 7 finale.

Star Wars The Bad Batch Official Trailer dropped a month ago! It drops on Disney+ on May 4th with Star Wars Visions coming in October and The Book of Boba Fett in December! The Mandalorian Season 3 drops in 2022 according to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. The show will give us a new perspective of the rise of Palpatine, Order 66 and what happened after the Clone Wars. The show will even feature Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand!

The Bad Batch is one of the many series announced by Kathleen Kennedy at Disney Investor Day 2020 as well as Star Wars: Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando, Cassian Andor and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

We also talk about a rumored Kylo Ren series that will give backstory to the Sequel Trilogy character. It ties to Luke Skywalker, Grogu (Baby Yoda) and what Lucasfilm plan to build on. Finally, we look at Rogue Squadron – the next big Star Wars movie by Patty Jenkins.
