In this Star Wars news update, we talk about the upcoming Mandalorian spin-off – the Ahsoka Tano series which reportedly has a filming date this year. The Mandalorian Season 3 drops in 2022 according to Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka which follows Rosario Dawson as the Togruta ex-Jedi will drop next year as well. Recently, we got a plot synopsis and news that Mena Massoud would be playing Ezra Bridger. After Ahsoka’s appearance in the Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 13 «The Jedi», it’s believed she is after Grand Admiral Thrawn. Grogu – Baby Yoda and Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) are also rumored to appear, maybe even with Luke Skywalker (either Sebastian Stan or CGI Mark Hamill). It will also be the first live-action appearance for Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels.

Speaking of Pedro Pascal, he has reportedly signed on for multiple projects – likely the Mandoverse – Star Wars: Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic and the Book of Boba Fett – all shows announced by Kathleen Kennedy last December. We also talk about the potential time-jump we might see in the Mandalorian Season 3.

We also talk about Ming-Na Wen who plays Fennec Shand in the Mando-verse, the Bad Batch and the Book of Boba Fett. She talked recently about her similarities with Kelly Marie Tran who played Rose Tico in Rian Johnson’s the Last Jedi and JJ Abrams’ The Rise of Skywalker.
