The Grand Army of the Republic and the Republic Navy entered the clone wars completely unprepared for the conflict. For the next four years the Republic tested out new strategies, weapons, equipment and vehicles on the battlefield. By the time that Order 66 happened the Republic Military was quite different from the organization it was during the First Battle of Geonosis.
