One of the most wildly successful and entertaining video games to come out of the Star Wars franchise is Star Wars: Battlefront and the subsequent sequel, Star Wars: Battlefront 2. And even though there was plenty of controversy surrounding the game’s microtransactions, it’s hard to argue that Battlefront 2 didn’t have some amazing heroes.

A lot of the success of the video game has to do with how the heroes that define the Star Wars franchise were seamlessly blended into the experience and gameplay of both Battlefront games – particularly, Battlefront 2. They included pivotal characters throughout the game including fan favorites like Rey, Darth Maul, Darth Vader and Yoda while still including other essential characters in the storyline – from the smugglers to the bounty hunters to the Jedis and the Siths.

But in the end, when playing a video game, there are the most powerful characters and then there are the far weaker characters…with a few who fall in the middle. In this list, I detail who I deem to fall on either end of the spectrum. Of course, this is my opinion, but I have many reasons for my choices as you are about to see.
