Vader meets Starkiller - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - Opening Scene #starwars #darthvader

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – Ultimate Sith Edition combines the full original game with three extra missions (Jedi Temple + the non-canon “Infinities” dark-side continuation on Tatooine and Hoth).
Main Story (Canon Path).

Set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope (around 2 BBY).
Darth Vader discovers a Force-sensitive boy named Galen Marek on Kashyyyk after killing the boy’s Jedi father, Kento Marek. Vader takes the child and trains him in secret as his apprentice, codenamed Starkiller.
Years later, Starkiller is a powerful Force user. Vader sends him on missions to hunt down surviving Jedi (including General Rahm Kota, Kazdan Paratus, and Shaak Ti) while keeping his existence hidden from Emperor Palpatine. During these missions Starkiller meets pilot Juno Eclipse and forms a bond with her. He also begins questioning the dark side.

Eventually Vader stages Starkiller’s “death” in front of the Emperor, then resurrects him and orders him to create a rebellion as a distraction so they can overthrow Palpatine together. Starkiller recruits senators (Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, Garm Bel Iblis) and Kota, helping form the early Rebel Alliance. He also learns his true name and identity.
The plan is a trap. Vader betrays Starkiller and the rebels are captured on the incomplete Death Star. Starkiller confronts Vader and the Emperor.

Light-side ending (canon): Starkiller sacrifices himself to defeat the Emperor long enough for the Rebel leaders to escape. He dies a martyr, and the Rebel Alliance is born.

Dark-side ending: Starkiller kills Vader instead, tries to kill the Emperor, fails, and is rebuilt in a life-support suit as the Emperor’s new apprentice, Lord Starkiller.

Starkiller vs The Emperor – The Light Side Ending Hits DIFFERENT 😭🔥

“Tracking Kota” is the name for the Cloud City (Bespin) mission in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (the console/PC versions).

Context in the story
After the events on the Empirical (where Vader seemingly kills Starkiller as a ruse), Starkiller begins building a rebellion under Vader’s orders. His first stop is locating Jedi General Rahm Kota, whom he previously defeated (and believed killed) at the TIE Fighter Construction Facility.
Kota survived, was blinded in the earlier duel, and has become a bitter, Force-disconnected drunk living in Cloud City. You find him in a bar (the “Vapor Room”), then must escort him through Imperial forces to the landing platform so you can escape together on the Rogue Shadow.
Mission overview

Location: Cloud City, Bespin
Main objectives: Protect / escort General Kota to the landing platform; eliminate enemy forces.
Key enemies: Stormtroopers, Imperial Senate Guards (polearm users), Jump Troopers, Scout Troopers, Ugnaughts, and a Shadow Guard (boss).
Notable feature: This is essentially an escort mission. Kota is slow, half-blind, and somewhat independent—he’ll fight nearby enemies but can lag behind or get into trouble if you rush ahead too far. You can carefully Force Grip and carry him (just don’t throw him).

Starkiller DESTROYS a Star Destroyer with the Force 🔥

Empirical (full name: ISS Empirical) is a major story mission/level in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It comes right after the “Last of the Jedi Masters” mission on Felucia.

Story Context:

After Starkiller kills Shaak Ti, he returns to Darth Vader. The Emperor’s forces arrive, and Vader is forced to “prove his loyalty” by attacking and apparently killing his apprentice in front of Palpatine — impaling him and throwing him into space.
In reality, Vader had a recovery droid retrieve Starkiller’s body. Months later, Starkiller wakes up aboard the ISS Empirical, a secret mobile research vessel belonging to Vader. The ship’s crew believes he is just another of Vader’s experiments (designated “Subject 1138”).
Via a hologram transmitted through PROXY, Vader reveals that the “execution” was staged to convince the Emperor that the secret apprentice is dead. Vader now orders Starkiller to assemble the Empire’s enemies into a rebellion as a distraction, so the two of them can eventually overthrow Palpatine. To erase all evidence, PROXY has already set the Empirical on a collision course with a nearby star.

Mission Gameplay
Primary objective: Escape the ISS Empirical (and rescue Juno Eclipse, who has been imprisoned and branded a traitor for her association with Starkiller).

Typical secondary/bonus objectives:

Destroy all remaining escape pods
Earn a set number of Force points (often 150,000)
Collect all holocrons on the level (usually 5)

You fight through Imperial forces, including regular stormtroopers, EVO troopers, and the introduction of Purge Troopers — heavily armored, lightsaber-resistant units that serve as mini-boss style enemies. The level ends once you free Juno and escape on the Rogue Shadow as the Empirical plunges into the star and is destroyed.
Importance
This is the major turning point in the game. Starkiller goes from being Vader’s obedient Sith apprentice to operating independently (while still following Vader’s new orders), beginning the process of gathering the founders of what will become the Rebel Alliance.
The Empirical appears in the game (as a full playable level on Xbox 360/PS3 versions), the novelization, and the comic adaptation, though some details differ slightly between versions.
