Story Summary
Set in 53 BBY (21 years before The Phantom Menace), the story follows young Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Xanatos. The Jedi Council sends them to Telos IV, Xanatos’s homeworld, to prevent a civil war after a political assassination. Xanatos’s father is the king.
The mission forces Qui-Gon into close contact with the dark side and has lasting consequences for the Jedi Order. For the headstrong Xanatos, returning home stirs up buried resentments and emotions.
Continuity Notes
- This is a Legends (non-canon) story.
- It expands on and adapts elements from Jude Watson’s Jedi Apprentice novels (especially the backstory of Xanatos and the Telosian Civil War), though the comic follows a different plot.
