Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu – Nightmare on Nevarro is a 2026 all-ages one-shot comic (40 pages) published by Mad Cave Studios’ Papercutz imprint in collaboration with Lucasfilm Publishing. It was released in comic shops on October 21, 2026 (just before Halloween).
It is written by Delilah S. Dawson (author of Star Wars: Phasma and the prior one-shot The Mandalorian and Grogu: Danger in the Dark) with art by Alessandro Ranaldi (inks by Vincenzo Federici; colors by Gaia de Bernardini and Laura Ciondolini). It is a direct sequel to Dawson’s earlier one-shot and is set in the timeline leading into the 2026 theatrical film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (roughly around 14 ABY).
Official synopsis:
Sinister creatures with glowing red eyes are terrorizing the people of Nevarro. Din Djarin and his foundling Grogu venture once more into the magma-filled lava tubes beneath the planet to uncover the truth. They face menacing cave creatures, a deranged mining droid, and red-eyed flying specters. “Surviving the darkness may be the greatest challenge of all… It’s a spooky Star Wars adventure where not everything is as it seems!”
