• Six-issue series.
It is a flashback-focused issue centered on a Republic comms team (referenced in previews as involving characters like Iza and Rike) at a lonely asteroid listening post. The operators start cracking under the isolation and constant galactic chatter, leading to unsettling transformations. This ties into the larger mystery of the series (the investigation into the death of Jedi Master Atticus Cale by the Pathfinder team led by Jedi Master Temesh and Padawan Anula).
Series context
- Set ~20 years after High Republic Phase II (around 362 BBY).
- The team (Temesh, Anula, medic Harby, pilot Pol, and companion Ezal) investigates strange events in the Outer Rim.
- Previous issues built a murder-mystery vibe with Outer Rim exploration, traps, droids, and escalating threats. Issue #6 (the finale) is scheduled for October 21, 2026. A trade paperback collecting #1–6 is planned for December 22, 2026.
