Synopsis : A hidden danger lurks deep beneath Nevarro. The Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and Grogu team up with a crew of cute, chaotic Anzellan droidsmith friends (including characters like Bai, Clang, Keeto, and Minch). They head into the lava tubes under the city to deal with a crashed pirate ship, facing creepy creatures and obstacles. It’s a story about Grogu learning to follow guidance, Mando balancing teaching with letting the little guys shine, full of humor, heart, and high-energy adventure.
It’s set after The Mandalorian Season 3 and serves as a prequel to the 2026 film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. This marks Grogu’s first original kids’ comics appearance (not an adaptation) and the first original (non-adaptation) comic story for the duo.
