This hardcover omnibus collects key stories from the Star Wars: The Old Republic era of the Legends continuity (now non-canon), focusing on the epic conflicts between the Galactic Republic, the Jedi Order, and the resurgent Sith Empire. Set thousands of years before the Skywalker saga, it dives into themes of espionage, betrayal, and galaxy-spanning war during the height of the Old Republic’s turmoil.
This is the second and final volume in the Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic Omnibus series. The first volume (released July 2021) collected the Knights of the Old Republic comic series and Knights of the Old Republic: War miniseries. Vol. 2 wraps up the era by compiling material from the later Epic Collection trade paperbacks.
The omnibus gathers these Dark Horse Comics series (originally published 2006–2012), focusing on the Sith’s aggressive campaigns and the Republic’s desperate defenses:
- Star Wars: The Old Republic – Threat of Peace (6 issues, by Rob Williams, Colin Wilson, et al.): Sith agents infiltrate Republic space under the guise of peace talks, leading to high-stakes intrigue and battles.
- Star Wars: The Old Republic – Blood of the Empire (3 issues, by Rob Williams, Michael Avon Oeming, et al.): Follows a young Sith acolyte’s rise amid the Empire’s internal power struggles.
- Star Wars: The Old Republic – The Lost Suns (5 issues, by Alexander Freed, Davidé Fabbri, et al.): A Republic agent hunts for a missing dreadnought, uncovering a conspiracy that could tip the war.
- Dawn of the Jedi (15 issues across Force Storm, The Prisoner of Bogan, and Force War, by John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, et al.): Explores the ancient origins of the Jedi and Sith, set millennia before the main Old Republic events, including the Je’daii Order’s fragile balance between light and dark.
