In today’s Star Wars news update, we talk about Taika Waititi’s 2025 Star Wars movie which was first announced by Kathleen Kennedy. He now says it’s in the writing phase and even offered Natalie Portman a role without realising she was Padme Amidala in the Prequel trilogy. The Thor Love and Thunder director says that after The Rise of Skywalker, he doesn’t want Star Wars to return to the Skywalker Saga and it’s time to move on.
