These are the Dark and HORRIFYING reason why Master Terra Sinube’s body (and other Order 66 survivors) were kept below the inquisitor fortress on Nur.

With the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4, we got a deeper look into Fortress Inquisitorious than we ever have before. Even though we’ve visted the location previously as Cal Kestis in Jedi: Fallen Order, we’ve never been this deep into the fortress… and what we saw down there was absolutely horrifying… But why did Vader and the Inquisitors keep this Jedi in amber below the fortress? Well, there are three answers and they were all equally as shocking. So hit that subscribe button and let’s break it down!

So the first confirmed reason for the Inquisitors taking Jedi from the purge and storing them in amber is for luring in other Jedi survivors. This is something we saw prominently in Star Wars: Rebels, where the Empire purposely leaked out fake footage of Master Luminara Unduli out to the Galaxy, hoping that any survivors would try to meet up with and rescue her. The plan actually worked, and Kanan Jarrus along with Ezra bridger were lured out to the Galaxy’s toughest prison, called The Spire on Stygeon Prime. This is the same prison that Darth Sidious put Maul in after he absolutely bodied him and Savage Oppress after they took over Mandalore. When Kanan and Ezra walked into the cell that Luminara was supposed to be in, a cold presence washed over Kanan… He knew something wasn’t right. And then moments Later, Luminara faded into a coffin type structure on the wall, confirming that she wasn’t in fact real. It was just a projection of her, made by the Inquisitors. Or maybe her presence in the force was actually real, and preserved by putting her body in amber, and not allowing the Midichlorians to escape… Equally terrifying possibilities. And then, the Grand Inquisitor himself walks into the cell, ready to execute Kanan and Ezra. And if you actually look inside of the little coffin structure that Luminara’s corpse is held in, you can kinda see the the amber in it, just like under the fortress on Nur. The chilling thing about this is that we still don’t know how Luminara was caught. We know she was serving on Kashyyyk alongside Master Yoda in the final moments of the Clone Wars, but after that, her story goes dark. We don’t know why those Clones on Kashyyyk specifically were ordered to capture Luminara and not kill her, but maybe we will find out in the upcoming Bad Batch Season 2.

Now after that we have the second, and possibly even darker reason for keeping this bodies, Palpatine’s Project Harvester. Project Harvester was a secret program that went back all the way to the time of the Clone Wars, where Palpatine sent out bounty hunters to kidnap force sensitive children across the Galaxy. From that point, they would then be trained from their very young age with Dark Side values in order to turn them into ruthless servants of the Dark Side, and Inquisitors when they grew up. To put this plan into motion, Palpatine hired Cad Bane to first break into the Jedi Temple vault and steal a holocron containing a list of force sensitive children across the galaxy. With this information, he then stole away the children on the list, posing a Jedi and brought them to a secret facility operated by Palpatine. Thankfully, Sidious’ plan was eventually discovered by Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker, but this unfortunately wasn’t the last of it.
