Did you know that most Mandalorian technology was originally created to fight Jedi and the Force? Early in their time as conquerors, Mandalorians wore distinctive armor and wielded swords. But eventually they ran into the Jedi Order. Mandalorians had no concept of the Force and were taken by surprise in their first battles with the Jedi.

And so they began to develop new armor, weapons, and gear that would help them fight on even ground. Mandalorian jetpacks, tactical displays, and the various offensive and defensive options on their gauntlets were all created in response to the Jedi and their abilities.
