The Jedi Who Thought He Was SMARTER Than Darth Vader... 1

As the Clone Wars came to an end and Order 66 put an stop to the Jedi order’s reign, the few remaining survivors were forced to scatter out across the galaxy to the only worlds which would take them in and not turn them over to the empire. On one strategic imperial manufacturing world, the Empire’s vehicle factories kept coming under attack by angry locals… Darth Vader quickly realized however that the locals weren’t acting alone. A Jedi was among them, and one who believed he was smarter than Darth Vader and could take him down with a simple trick…

So, the story begins out on the lush and thick forest world of Otavon 12, where the Empire has built a brand new base dedicated to the construction of AT-AT walkers. There aren’t many natives living here on the planet, but the few who remain still fight to drive the imperials away from their world. Unfortunately for them however their attacks have grown enough to attract the vengeful gaze of Darth Vader, who senses that there may be someone leading these natives. Moving out onto the front lines, the Ovoni are locked in an intense firefight with the imperial Clone troopers who are taking things pretty casually, and coldly stating… “more target practice”…

As they continue blasting without regard for the natives, the lines of attack eventually converge and hand to hand combat even breaks out. The Ovoni are now planning to plant blast charges on the territory of the Clone Troopers before retreating and taking out as many as possible, but a dark and cold presence suddenly washes over the battlefield. As one of the Ovoni looks up, chills are sent down her spine as she realizes its all over. Darth Vader has arrived.

Igniting his bright red lightsaber, Vader leaps down from the city wall and begins an absolute rampage, slicing through every rebel fighter he sees, some without even looking. He manages to choke anyone who comes to him from the front and impale anyone who attacks from the back. Vader continues slicing and dicing, letting the pure rage flow through him and fuel his darkness… He is quickly snapped out of it however once the general in charge of the planet, General Crik rushes down with more clones and warns Vader that he can’t be talking these unnecessary risks. Vader however brushes this concern off telling the general that these pathetic Ovoni pose no threat to him.

As the general takes him into the AT-AT factory, Vader tells him that the Ovoni are a dying species and their attacks are futile. The general doesn’t really agree with this because no matter how many of them are killed, they just keep throwing themselves back at the factory, which is making all of the workers nervous. Vader then tells him that he’ll be dealing with the natives. The general’s only concern are the walkers, and the emperor will not accept any delay.

Following this, Vader receives a holo call from his master and informs him that he has lost contact with the squad who were searching for the Ovoni leader. Palpatine tells him that he was sent to ensure the production of the walkers was on time, not to chase down the natives… Vader however believes this is an utter waste of his training, but Palpatine tells him that he forgets his place. His obsession with the Jedi is clouding his judgement… With one final warning, Palpatine tells Vader that if he does not continue to oversee the production of the walkers, he may never lead Tremor Base.
