The Highly Illegal Blaster That Could Fire Invisible Bolts.

During the early days of the Empire, high ranking army and ISB officials wanted to carry out secretive assassinations on the streets, but didn’t want their assasins to be seen or heard. In order to do this, the Night Stinger Sporting Blaster was developed which was capable of firing invisible and nearly silent blaster bolts.

This was perfect for assassinations, but the blaster could only fire a max of 5 shots before needing a new gas canister, meaningly only the most accurate and highly skilled assasins were able to use it. The Empire also used these invisible blaster bolts alongside redirection crystals to frame Rebel operatives and make it look like they fired on civilians, because the redirection crystals could produce visible blaster bolts, but from the direction of the rebels…
