In this Star Wars news update, we look at more big news for Patty Jenkins’ movie Rogue Squadron first announced by Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm last December. It’s been delayed but now we know why and it’s a similar issue that Colin Trevorrow faced when writing Episode 9 Duel of the Fates before JJ Abrams came in to make the Rise of Skywalker. We had a recent rumor that after Lucasfilm announced a Knights of the Old Republic remake (KOTOR), they are now working on an Old Republic era Star Wars movie for Disney+. The 2023 movie is not Kevin Feige’s movie nor the one Taika Waititi is working on.

Next month, we have The Book of Boba Fett, and then in 2022 we have the Mandalorian Season 3, Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Andor and The Bad Batch Season 2. 2023 promises The Acolyte, the Ahsoka Tano series by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau and maybe another movie.
