In this Star Wars news update, we look at a big rumor that after Lucasfilm announced a Knights of the Old Republic remake (KOTOR), they are now working on an Old Republic era Star Wars movie for Disney+ that is separate to Rogue Squadron, Kevin Feige’s movie and the one Taika Waititi is working on. Some Star Wars fans think the movie is going to be the Rian Johnson trilogy while others think the unannounced project will be a Mandalorian movie that connects to The Book of Boba Fett, the Mandalorian Season 3, the Ahsoka Tano series and Rangers of the New Republic. If so, Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin and Grogu (Baby Yoda), along with Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka will be involved in a final epic film.
We also talk about Grand Admiral Thrawn, Ahsoka, Patty Jenkins and more. Disney+ Day is next week on November 12th and Kathleen Kennedy might announce more projects as well as show us the Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser trailer, an Andor sizzle reel and more!
