In today’s Star Wars news update, we talk about big news for the upcoming Rogue One spin-off, the Cassian Andor series. The series is rumored to have 3 seasons in total, if Lucasfilm and Disney deem it a success. Disney+ Day is on November 12th and we can expect a teaser trailer for Andor as well as the Obi-Wan Kenobi series with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen.

We also talk about the Book of Boba Fett trailer and how Robert Rodriguez may have teased we’ll be getting a second one soon. I also speak about Matt Smith who has opened up about almost having had a big role in Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker as a young Palpatine clone.

The Andor series will be huge and could tie into Palpatine’s contingency plan, Order 66 in flashbacks, Mount Tantiss, Thrawn in the Expanded Universe and the Bad Batch Season 2. Diego Luna recently spoke a couple of months ago about familiar characters and just how great the show is going to be. The show was first announced by Kathleen Kennedy last year.
