Stealth suits were a type of gray-colored clothing used by individuals wanting to go unseen. When the crime lord Papa Toren had the smuggler Lando Calrissian put together a team to steal Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine’s pleasure craft, the Imperialis, from Sienar Fleet Systems Orbital Shipyard CC-24, he provided them with stealth suits. During the heist, all five members of the team—Calrissian, his partner the cyborg Lobot, the antiques expert Korin Pers and the partners Aleksin and Pavol—wore stealth suits, allowing them to get close to the starship so Lobot could use his AJ^6 cyborg construct to disable the station’s security which would let the team to successfully steal the ship.

A mimetic suit was a type of stealth gear that used highly advanced light bending technology to render its wearer virtually invisible. The suit contained sound dampeners, electromagnetic shields and thermal dissipation tech in order to completely block the user from detection. The suit only had a battery life of one hour, and was incredibly illegal to own, only being found in the deepest levels of the black market. These suits were also used in an assasination attempt on Chancellor Valorum before the Clone Wars, but the assassins were stopped by Qui-Gon Jinn.
