Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are leading the Star Wars franchise in an exciting direction which will also link Omega, Clone Force 99, Rex to Rebels, the Ahsoka series and also Rangers of the New Republic. The Clone Wars spin-off by Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni and Jennifer Corbett has been great and this final episode had callbacks to the Expanded Universe at the end at the Imperial Cloning Facility possibly on Wayland which hints at Grand Admiral Thrawn and there could also be tie-ins with wider Star Wars media.

The Bad Batch Season 2 comes in 2022, and is one of the many upcoming series that were announced by Kathleen Kennedy with The Mandalorian Season 3, Star Wars: Ahsoka, The Book of Boba Fett and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
