In this Star Wars news update, we look at a big news for the Book of Boba Fett that we will see the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine during the Mandalorian spin-off by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Lucasfilm and Disney+. We also discuss new director news after rumors that we will see Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze and other familiar characters in the show. There could even be a tie-in with Omega from the Bad Batch. On August 25th, we get the Luke Skywalker special for the Mandalorian Season 2 with Mark Hamill.
The show will be directed by Robert Rodriguez and directors like Bryce Dallas-Howard will also have roles, with Kathleen Kennedy as executive producer. Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand who is also in the Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch will star as the leads with big cameos expected from the wider Star Wars universe as well. These include Bossk from the Empire Strikes Back, Qi’ra from Solo: A Star Wars Story and War of the Bounty Hunters and Cad Bane.
