Order 66 may be changed forever after Clone Captain Howzer/ Ballast was introduced in The Bad Batch Episode 11 Devil’s Deal. In my full episode breakdown with easter eggs and the ending explained of the Clone Wars spin-off by Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni and Jennifer Corbett, we discussed how the episode was more or less a Star Wars Rebels prequel with a huge cameo on Ryloth of Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Cham Syndulla and a new clone captain called Captain Ballast.

It seems like this new clone did not execute order 66 and we have to wonder if his inhibitor chip activated or not when Palpatine commanded the Jedi Purge as seen in the Clone Wars Season 7, the Bad Batch Premiere ‘Aftermath’ and Revenge of the Sith. What implications does this have and will Clone Force 99 seek to remove his chip if they meet him, maybe with the help of Captain Rex.
