In this Star Wars News update, we talk about the Kenobi series and a new rumor that we will get our first look at the series with Ewan McGregor in Star Wars Insider this month. We recently spoke about a rumor that Sith Inquisitors from Star Wars Rebels will appear sent to Tatooine by Darth Vader – played by Hayden Christensen. It is reported that Lucasfilm want Obi-Wan to have as much lightsaber action in the series as possible. In the aftermath of the events of Revenge of the Sith and 10 years after Order 66 initiated by Palpatine, Obi-Wan will communicate with Qui-Gon during his exile. It’s not known if George Lucas had any input into the show but the Lucasfilm and Disney+ live-action Star Wars series comes out in 2022. The show-runner is Deborah Chow.
