In today’s Star Wars news update, we talk about new details for the Mandalorian Season 3, the Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s reported that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau’s show is being delayed due to Pedro Pascal and his schedule as well as Lucasfilm prioritising the Kenobi series. Ewan McGregor recently spoke about the show with Variety and revealed that the show is still in production. He also discussed Jedi Master Yoda, Tatooine, Stormtroopers and Jawas. The Obi-Wan actor also talked about the struggles the Star Wars Prequels faced under George Lucas.
We also discuss The Book of Boba Fett featuring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand who also appears in the Bad Batch – the Clone Wars spin-off. It’s believed that Boba will serve as a follow up to the Mandalorian Season 2 with characters such as Cobb Vanth, Greef Karga, Din Djarin, Grogu (Baby Yoda) and even Bossk set to make appearances. We also know that the Book of Boba will have multiple seasons. The show will be part of the Mando-verse along with Ahsoka Tano series with Rosario Dawson first announced last year by Kathleen Kennedy. While Rangers of the New Republic is no longer in development after Gina Carano was fired by Disney, we could get a Luke Skywalker series instead.
