In today’s Star Wars news update, we talk about new casting details for the upcoming Rogue One spin-off, the Cassian Andor series which was announced by Kathleen Kennedy during Disney Investor Day. The live-action Disney+ show starring Diego Luna will be one of many upcoming Star Wars projects which include The Book of Boba Fett this December, The Mandalorian Season 3, Star Wars Ahsoka with Rosario Dawson, Lando and Obi-Wan Kenobi! Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are heading many of these – especially to do with the Mandoverse It’s rumored that George Lucas will also be involved in the writing of the show with Toby Haynes. We now have confirmation of Robert Emms who will feature.

We also talk about the possibility of Coruscant appearing in the series after its prominence in the Prequels and the Clone Wars, especially in Revenge of the Sith. We could even see it in the Bad Batch! Finally, we discuss Kevin Feige who is confirmed to have an upcoming Star Wars movie. He and Loki writer Michael Waldron talked about Kathleen Kennedy and what it’s like to work on Marvel projects as well as Star Wars.
