In this Star Wars news update, we talk about The Bad Batch and the description and run-times for the first two episodes – they involve Captain Rex and Cut Lawquane as well as the female clone Omega from Kamino. We know that Crosshair will join the Empire and a significant bit of speculation has been made on whether or not Clone Force 99 will execute Order 66. It is also believed we’ll see Ahsoka Tano and the series will tie into the Obi-Wan Kenobi series as well.

Star Wars The Bad Batch Official Trailer dropped a month ago! It drops on Disney+ on May 4th with Star Wars Visions coming in October and The Book of Boba Fett in December! The Mandalorian Season 3 drops in 2022 according to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. The show will give us a new perspective of the rise of Palpatine, Order 66 and what happened after the Clone Wars. The show will even feature Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand!

The Bad Batch is one of the many series announced by Kathleen Kennedy at Disney Investor Day 2020 as well as Star Wars: Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando, Cassian Andor and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
