Rian Johnson to Direct An Episode of The Mandalorian?

In this Star Wars News update, we talk about The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson who says he wants to direct an episode of the Mandalorian Season 3. He spoke to Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm and it’s all about scheduling. He even met Baby Yoda – Grogu before we first saw him in the Mandalorian’s first season. Along with Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, it’s expected that the Mandalorian Season 3 by Jon Favreau will feature Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze and the rest of the heroes expect for Gina Carano who was fired by Kathleen Kennedy and Disney.

We also look at more official set leaks for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The Obi-Wan Kenobi Series is an upcoming Star Wars, Lucasfilm and Disney+ series that was announced by Kathleen Kennedy during Disney Investor Day 2020. It is set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith and will be the rematch of the century between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader. Hayden Christensen has been cast to reprise his role as newly anointed Darth Vader in the wake of the creation of the Galactic Empire under the rule of Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine). The series will feature Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan during his exile on Tatooine.
