Exciting News For the Future of The Mandalorian Universe 1

In this Star Wars news update, we talk about an exciting update for the Mandalorian universe and specifically, Rangers of the New Republic! Gina Carano was fired from Lucasfilm and her character Cara Dune was supposed to be the original lead in the series. Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels is filling that role according to Star Wars rumors and Kathleen Kennedy along with Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are working on the schedule for when Rangers will start production. Now though, it’s believed Jacen Syndulla son of Kanan Jarrus and Hera from the New Republic will feature in the series. We can also expect Rebels heroes from the original trilogy and the sequels to feature in the Mando-verse as well.

We also discuss Pedro Pascal who plays Din Djarin alongside Baby Yoda – Grogu in the Mandalorian. He presented at the BAFTAs last night and many Star Wars fans are pleased to see him. I also talk about big news for fans of George Lucas and his more obscure Star Wars projects – Star Wars Detours is coming to Disney Plus next month along with Star Wars The Bad Batch – the Clone Wars spin-off… Finally, there is news about how originally, Moff Gideon, the Darksaber and a Beskar helmet were all meant to feature in the Rise of Skywalker, then known as Duel of the Fates by Colin Trevorrow.
