The Bad Batch Official Trailer dropped yesterday! Who was the clone Omega? The Bad Batch drops on Disney+ on May 4th with Star Wars Visions coming in October and The Book of Boba Fett in December! The Mandalorian Season 3 drops in 2022 according to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!
In today’s video, we go Star Wars Explained style to look at who Omega is from the Bad Batch! Is she a Jango Fett clone with genetic mutations? Is she force-sensitive? We look at all the possibilities and Star Wars theories surrounding her connection to Kamino, The Kaminoans, The Clone Wars, Attack of the Clones, Palpatine and even Shaak-Ti. We consider a more far-fetched Star Wars Theory that she is linked to Rey from the Sequel Trilogy and perhaps Snoke. She will play a vital role in the upcoming show and we even see her using a Nightsister Energy Bow in the trailer.
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill, which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose. The show will give us a new perspective of the rise of Palpatine, Order 66 and what happened after the Clone Wars. The show will even feature Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand! We see Saw Gerrera, Grand Moff Tarkin and Kamino!
The Bad Batch is one of the many series announced by Kathleen Kennedy at Disney Investor Day 2020 as well as Star Wars: Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando, Cassian Andor and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. It is a spin-off of the Clone Wars and is written and created by Dave Filoni who follows in the footsteps of George Lucas.
