In today’s Star Wars news update, we talk about an exciting rumor that The Mandalorian Universe (Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic and The Book of Boba Fett) will explore alternate timelines and could use the World Between Worlds from Star Wars Rebels to change the Sequel Trilogy timeline or to simply explore what could be/have been.
We also talk about Star Wars Visions which drops this year but a new novel Ronin has been announced for release on October 12th! According to Kathleen Kennedy on Disney Investor Day 2020, Star Wars: Visions will be a series of animated short films celebrating the Star Wars galaxy through the lens of the world’s best anime creators. This anthology collection will bring ten fantastic visions from several of the leading Japanese anime studios, offering a fresh and diverse cultural perspective to Star Wars.

But it isn’t and the Star Wars franchise as well as The Mandalorian will recover as a series. Din Djarin currently wields the Darksaber and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) wants it. It is time for heroes such as Greef Karga, Cobb Vanth, Boba Fett, Migs Mayfeld and Koska Reeves to have the spotlight and help Mando to take on Moff Gideon and the Imperial Remnant in light of the upcoming rise of the First Order.
