At the end of the mandalorian season 2 we got a marvel style end credits scene that shows, and let me recap from the breakdown as it was at the tail end of the long video, we got Tatooine. Jabba’s palace. Fennec shand kills gammorean guards as she comes down the steps with Boba to follow a few steps behind. Bib Fortuna sits atop Jabba’s throne. Telling Boba how he had heard rumours of his return. Boba kills him. Big Fortuna was Jabba’s top secretary and right hand man. We see him in Return of the Jedi, and I thought he died, but I guess Boba isn’t the only one to return from the dead. He’s played here by Matthew Wood, who voices General Grievous in the clone wars. Boba walks up, throws his dead corpse off, and takes his rightful place on the throne of the underworld king. Jabba was the law of the underworld. If scum and villainy. Boba now takes that mantle. He and Fennec will now control the galaxy’s underworld at their fingertips. The Book of boba, coming December 2021. This is the big question. Will this be a new show all on it’s own. We have a little more insight on whether this is a show on its own to run alongside The Mandalorian Season 3, or if it’s now The Mandalorian Season 3, we’re taking a break from Din, Bo, Grogu and the rest.

So, if this is indeed a separate show running at the same time as The Mandalorian season 3, this means we could get a marvel effect where we have two different timelines that in my theory will eventually converge together. I think the Boba Fett show could show how he survived the sarlacc pit and his adventures for the last 5 years from return of the jedi as he enters the mandalorian season 2 through either flashbacks or starting from his escape from the salracc and showing how he did it. The show could reveal his and Fennec’s take over of the underworld of Star Wars as we know it. That throne was Jabba’s, and with it, he commands and rules as the king. Now this transition will obviously take a bit of doing as the galaxy doesn’t fully know of his return, nor his status as crime world king. So I think the show will take us through Boba’s adventures as we get in tandem the adventures of Bo Katan, Din, and possibly Luke Skywalker after his reveal in The Mandalorian Season 2, which will eventually, maybe in a year or more, bring them all back together with the big bad, Thanos equivalent, grand admiral Thrawn.
