B1 Battle Droids, or, Clankers, served their purpose in the Clone Wars for the Separatists. However, who was the most powerful of them? While Anakin Skywalker chopped them down with his lightsaber like they were nothing, they did make for formidable opponents for the Clone Troopers. Seeing them first in The Phantom Menace, we see them up to Revenge of the Sith after Vader destroys the remaining separatist leaders on Mustafar during Order 66, deflecting a blaster bolt back on to the B1 Battle Droid, where they were put out of commission, for the Empire, for good. They were still used in the outer regions of the galaxy where the Empire’s surveillance dwindled, however for the most part, they were no longer in use once Palpatine brought Storm Troopers.
