During Clone Wars Season 7 with Ahsoka fighting Maul, we all wondered what would have happened had Anakin Skywalker actually gone to Mandalore to fight the Sith. Maul’s whole plan was to kill Anakin, so that Sidious plan would be foiled. This of course didn’t happen, as Anakin went with Obi-Wan Kenobi to save Palpatine from Dooku and Grievous. Anakin fought Dooku and it was a really cool scene, even cooler in the books with force powers being used, heavily. Anakin would have fought Maul and two different outcomes could have happened. We could have had Maul win, or Anakin win. Both would yield two very different outcomes. In today’s fan-fiction on Star Wars Theory, we’re going to take it through scenario 1 where Darth Maul actually ends up beating Anakin on Mandalore in the throne room. How will this affect Order 66?
